According to the report of the World Health Organization, approximately, 5 and 10 million people are affected with hepatitis B and C respectively in Pakistan. Thousands of new patients are added every year due to lack of prevention, testing and treatment resources. Pakistan also has an alarmingly increasing level of new HIV cases since decades.
VFAHT has aimed to reduce disease burden by not only promoting disease awareness and prevention but also screening of the masses. Screening is an important tool for early detection and treatment and reduces morbidity and mortality related to liver disease along with preventing disease transmission.
After the workshop session, you will be evaluated to assess what you have learnt. You will then be issued a certificate based on a satisfactory response.
A follow-up session will be arranged with the Master Trainer, participation in which will certify you as a trainer and will make you eligible to conduct future training sessions.
